From our parents: messages of support for the HT teachers

• Thanks to the teachers and your leadership during this time. My husband and I have been very appreciative of the support provided to our son during this time, both through online learning and well-being support.

• I just wanted to thank you so much for keeping us so well informed throughout this process. It gives such reassurance to know that you are all thinking through the multitude of details so that we really don’t need to worry about anything. It really feels as though the HT community has drawn even closer together, even while we have been apart, and this is largely due to your capable, warm, kind updates – and of course the ongoing contact with HT’s wonderful teachers.

• Thank you for the regular updates. This must be a testing time for you and your team. I’m sure I’m not alone in wishing you the very best.

• HT teachers have been exceptional in delivering the online learning program. We are looking forward to resuming face-to-face learning, along with the additional efforts that HT is putting in to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

• Thank you so much for looking after the parents as well as the children in these challenging times. It speaks volumes about the care you have for everyone within the Huntingtower community. I am sincerely grateful for all that you’ve done and are doing.

• Just wanted to thank you very much for all your hard work during this period. It has not gone unnoticed. The levels of adaptation and communications throughout have been outstanding. With our three daughters at Huntingtower, it reaffirms our choice of schools; we know they are in the presence of strong mentors, not only in academics but in all aspects of life.

• Thank you very much to all the HT team for such a wonderful job on continuing to educate and care for our children in such difficult times. It’s clear that a huge amount of work has gone into this and we’re very grateful.

• All the updates have been very well received; all the best to the staff. We certainly noticed how tiring virtual learning was for our son, so I can only imagine what it's like for teachers. I myself am working remotely and spend most my day in zoom which is quite exhausting but equally we're so fortunate to have modern technology to be able to do our work.

• Thank you for the proactive stance and care that HT have taken in ensuring that a high standard of learning continues, whether it be on campus or online.

• What an introductory year as Huntingtower’s new principal, Mr Houghton. I think you’re doing a fantastic job in very difficult circumstances.

• Hats off to every member of the school community who is doing amazing work under the leadership of Mr Houghton.

• We could have been in a much worse situation. It is said you should be grateful for what you have rather than what you don't have. We are grateful for being part of such a wonderful school, for its strong management team and the positive energy that we get with every message in these unpredictable times.
