Have you thought about becoming a homestay host?

A home away from home for overseas students

With the announcement that the Boarding House will close at the end of 2020, we are seeking homestay families for a few of our current boarders so they can complete their education at Huntingtower. We would love to hear from any family who may be interested in welcoming one of our delightful overseas students into their homes.

There are many great reasons for hosting overseas students in your own home. You and your family will have the opportunity to share Aussie culture, customs and food with a young person new to Australia, you'll be able to form friendships with people from other parts of the world and you'll be able to look at how we do things from a different perspective. Your young guest will be able to enjoy Aussie family life, practise their English daily and develop firm friendships with your family as well as all the other HT students.
