Musical

The bus just keeps rolling!

After an excellent run of four face-to-face rehearsals, including a two-hour livestream choreography session from Melbourne, Priscilla has had to return to the remote setting.

Rehearsals continue of a Tuesday from 3.45pm until around 5.30pm and include choreography by Hannah Moon and Liam King. The amount of energy and preparation by these two young mentors is nothing short of inspiring. It is incredibly difficult to choreograph a large dance troupe in the physical world. These two bring the same energy to the Google classroom grid view!  We thank all of our cast for their ongoing trust in Priscilla and their dedication to their craft.

We have also welcomed Ann and Aaron Body to our team and what a gift they are! They have also joined us online providing the humour and good vocals of a truly “together” team. We now have vocal tutorials in our Google classroom to compliment our dance tutorials.

Our band under the expert guidance of Erin Toulmin, continues to forge ahead with remote rehearsals according to our published schedule and is also using keyboard parts provided by another of our talented parents Jeremy Lee.  Additional members of the band include student alumni (David Coates), parent alumni (Sharon Gore) and staff alumni (Kristyn Cram). These are gifted musicians and we are extremely privileged to have their expertise.

Whatever our destination this year, the work of our Priscilla story is immortalised in the Google classroom and continues to provide a light in our otherwise challenging world.
