Uniform Shop Update

Schooltrenz’s online appointment booking is only open for new 2021 student fittings appointments. If others wish to visit the shop for purchase or pickup of orders, they should telephone 9338 1334 to make an appointment. Please note that online orders with delivery are continuing as usual at www.schooltrenz.com.au.

School Buses

All school buses, public and the Aitken charter services, are continuing to run even though we only have Year 11 and Year 12 students (and some others) at school. A reminder that students using the public buses need to have their Myki cards topped up online as the drivers are unable to accept cash payments. Students on the Aitken charter buses have commenced using the Rollcall system, by tapping on and off with their school ID cards. It will take several weeks of data checking to ensure accuracy about which students use which stops. Eventually parents will be invited to download the Rollcall app to track their child’s travel.

Mask Wearing

Students aged 12 years or over attending school are now required to be wearing a mask, except when playing sport or eating. Acceptable masks can be: disposable single-use masks, reusable cloth ones or homemade cloth ones. Instructions are easily found online for making a homemade mask. Please note that a “footy” type scarf around the head that won’t stay in place for very long is not acceptable.

Home Learning

While Home Learning is happening for most students, please remember the rules for students participating in a Zoom session with their classes:

• Students must have their camera turned on with themselves visible
• Students must be wearing an Aitken top (shirt, house t-shirt, rugby top)
• Students must not be Zooming from their bedroom.
