Flamingos Class News

We have had another busy term in 1 Flamingos. In English we have learnt how to write narratives and procedures and in Mathematics we have worked on Addition and Subtraction, Fractions, Length and Time. 

The Flamingos have continued their engaging music lessons with Mark and last week it was dress up and play in a band week. We had some weird and wonderful costumes and students enjoyed played the drums and guitars.

One of our favourite things to do is go to the Library each week. The students love exploring the Library and most weeks we have all students borrowing. At Windang PS we are lucky to have a Library with all the most recent books and it is great to see the students borrowing books they can read independently and with their parents. Recently we have borrowed Non-Fiction books for our class Library and students love learning about animals, with sharks being a favourite. 

I am excited to see all the things the Fabulous Flamingos can achieve in Semester 2.
