Student achievements

Congratulations to the following students: 

Matilda Waddington and Jessica Ransley (Year 10), who have been selected to represent Tasmania at the U19 National Cricket Championships to be played in Adelaide from 7-14 April.

Asmita Gupta (Year 10), who has been selected to represent Tasmania at the Squash Australia Junior Open to be held in Bendigo from 9-12 April.

Issy Hoggett (Year 10), who competed at the National Track and Field Championships in Sydney, finishing fourth in the 2000m steeplechase. Issy also recorded a big personal best (10.15) to place sixth in the U17 3000m.

Jessica Smith (Year 9), who won silver at the National Track and Field Championships in the 2000m steeplechase. A fantastic result! Well done, Jessica.

Issy Gray (Year 9), who was a member of the U16 4 x 200m relay team that broke the state U16 and U18 records at the Athletics Australia National Championships.

Maya Bearman and Olive Smith (Year 7), who have qualified to compete in the upcoming Australian Age National Swimming Championships in Adelaide over Easter. Both Maya and Olive have excelled at state level for the Hobart Aquatic Club and will be competing for the first time.

Macey Hayes (Year 3), who competed in the Devonport Open on Sunday 3 April, receiving a gold medal for her efforts.
