Kitchen Garden Project

Our Senior VCAL students have been busy revamping the vegi garden that was left unattended for the past few years due to Covid.

The project involves students working in small teams to clean up and then reinvigorate the area of choice. Some of the projects involved dismantling and rebuilding the chook house. The old green house will be recovered and set up for growing vegetables and seedlings. A water pond/ water feature will be erected and made into a place of reflection and tranquillity. New raised garden beds will be made, and the hope is to have many of the other year levels planting and learning about sustainable living and food production in the future.

Emerald Rotary is helping with this project by donating some money to help fund our project. We are very appreciative of their assistance.
