ITALIAN NEWS - Mrs Carmela Vozzo

During the past weeks, students in Year 2s have been working on fruits. Year 2s have learned 6 new fruits and used them in role plays where they have taken on the role of parents or children. They have learned “ho fame mamma” and “mangia una mela.”  These expressions mean “I am hungry mum” and “eat an apple.” They have made their favourite fruit and used them in the role play. Listening to the song “Canta la frutta” with Aurora has been a great success! Bravissimi ragazzi!

Year 1s have also learned 6 new fruits and fruit juices. They have role-played the “Succhi di Frutta” presentation using the magnificent masks given to each one of them.
