For All Future Generations

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we approach Week 4 in the Lenten Season, could we remember the annual Caritas Australia Project Compassion Appeal. This year’s theme is “For All Future Generations,” reminding us that the good we do today, will extend and impact the lives of generations to come. The Project Compassion boxes are in each classroom for the children to make contributions. Your support is truly appreciated. 

Year 3 & 4 Reconciliation

Let us remember all the families within our parish and school communities who have started preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

The Year 3 & 4 teachers have commenced work on this sacrament during class. They have looked at “What is sin?” and at different prayers of forgiveness. 

Last night Fr Jerome led the children and their families in a thought provoking online workshop. We thank Father Jerome for his time and support with the children.

We ask the Lord to open the children’s minds and hearts to Jesus’ way so they may increase their dialogue with Jesus and follow his ways.

We pray this through Jesus Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Lenten Reflection

We pray:               

O Lord,

When I am fearful, calm all my fears.

When I feel alone, remind me you are always with me.

When I feel insecure, remind me of your love and care.

When I feel troubled, soothe my worries and cares.

When I feel hopeless, remind me you are our hope forever.

O Lord, give me faith. Amen.
