In Food Technology in the middle years of schooling, we offer many different semester units for students to choose from. Here we have our “Focus on Food”  students working to achieve the goal of preparing a take-away option in a healthier version. Their aim was to align their meal to the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating. This would represent all of the 6 nutrients needed for their growth and having a yummy meal as well. Whilst some opted for “no pickle” most were happy to add “green stuff” to their meal.
