Drama Club

Thank you to everyone for auditioning for ‘Blip of the Jungle’ and congratulations to all for earning your cast and crew title(s). Since our last newsletter, rehearsals have begun and a successful bake sale was held. Due to the generous support of our school community, we have been able to raise a whopping $417.35. We will be using this to fund our Semester One Production ‘Blip of the Jungle’. This student-run production will present a sneak peek at the Year 9 Assembly. Keep an eye out for the dates and ticketing information. 

House Swimming Carnival

Thank you to everyone in the Lyndhurst SC community for your support of the House Swimming Carnival today. It was a wonderful day, with not just the air temperature warming up, but also the heat in the pool. The events in the pool were tackled with enthusiasm, as well as the novelty events for those who didn't necessarily want to get wet. The staff were victorious in staff v students tug of war and again in the staff v students relay. With scores seesawing throughout the day, it was Hale who again took out the House Swimming with 410 pts. 2nd Flintoff 354 pts, 3rd Kettner 308 pts, 4th Sayers 269 pts

Nontheless, the overall leaderboard is as follows:

1st Sayers (834)

2nd Hale (783)

3rd Flintoff (560)

4th Kettner (431)

House Spirit Week

House Spirit Week is coming to Lyndhurst! 

On the 27th to 31st  of March, staff and students will be given the opportunity to engage in House activities to boost House pride and shake up the leader board before our next major House events take place. Major events in term 2 are House Cross Country and House Talent Show.
