MSC School Production

Sign up for auditions

In 2023, Melton Secondary College will be producing its first School Production in many years and we are very excited to be able to create this opportunity for our students.

We are still yet to be approved for the chosen show, but we would love to be able to let you know about audition days and times for term 2.

Auditions will take place in Week 2, Term 2, to avoid the disruption of week 1. Any student who is wanting a main role must attend all three auditions. If for some reason a student cannot attend one of them, they need to contact Mrs Mortimer via email or in person to arrange a different time. Acting and Voice auditions will be conducted individually and Dance auditions will be within a group. Auditions have times attached but could finish earlier pending numbers. Please see the following for details:

Week 2, Term 2

Acting Auditions: Monday, 1 May 3:30pm- 5pm

Monologues will be provided in advance and students are encouraged to practise at home/ ask for tips from teachers and also get into character for their induvial audition

Dance Auditions: Wednesday, 3 May 3:00pm- 4:30pm

A choreographed Dance piece will be taught to all students in a group together, and then broken down to be learnt. It will be a short piece not relevant to the actual show, but more to so see students abilities and levels.

Voice Auditions: Thursday, 4 May 3:30pm- 5:00pm

The songs that will be presented for the voice auditions will be published via Compass, once we are officially approved for the show
