Warrandyte Festival

I'm sure everyone has heard or read the news, but Saturday has sadly been cancelled at the Warrandyte Festival due to the extreme fire danger. Tonight and Sunday will be going ahead as planned, and Sunday's activities may even be expanded.

This means that the parade and student performances will not be taking place and we will not be running our food stall tomorrow (but we will definitely be on Sunday).

We have also been advised not to set up on Friday afternoon as planned due to the strong winds predicted for Saturday. We will now need help moving and setting up our stall from 6:30 on Sunday morning.  https://acps.to/2023-festival-roster

We have been overwhelmed by the support from our community and our roster was filled for both days of the Festival.

Thank you to the Warrandyte Festival committee for all the hard work they have put in to organising the festival. We're all disappointed but understand the reasons behind the decision.

We will be announcing the winners of the class PJ, movie and popcorn day at assembly this afternoon. Good luck everyone! We'll still count Saturday volunteers even though we will no longer be running the stall on Saturday.

Take care, be safe on Saturday and I hope to see you all on Sunday,
