Reflection

A prayer for the end of Term

Dear Lord,  

We are grateful to the Lord, God our Father for all that was good during these last couple of months. For the love and attention our families have showered upon us, for the care and kindness our teachers have given us and for being able to play with our friends in the sunshine on those warm days. We are also grateful for all the people who cared for us when we felt sad or upset.

We now ask for your blessing on us as we look forward to the school holidays and the Season of Easter. Keep us all safe over the break until we return to school in Term Two. We look forward to continuing to grow in our learning, our cleverness and happiness, sharing our talents and abilities with everyone we meet. We ask this prayer through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our Acknowledgment of Country

We acknowledge that we learn, grow, create and celebrate on Wurundjeri Country. 

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share the glorious land, sky, waterways, and wonderful wildlife with the traditional owners.

Exploring Country brings us joy, happiness and peace. 

We will continue our connection with Country through respectful play, by caring for our community and the environment and engaging in learning that challenges injustice and leads change.
