Last Saturday, the College Vixens played Monivae green. The game started out strongly,  with great passes between all the girls. The mid-court showed great improvement re-offering the ball and getting in front of their player which made all the difference in the game. Despite our best efforts, Monivae came out on top with a win of 18-35. Thank you to everyone who filled in, this game would not have gone ahead without you.

On the weekend College Swifts played Monivae Blue. The team had a slow start but after the first half, they made a strong comeback. The girls showed great passing, shooting and there were lots of interceptions by the defenders. Unfortunately the girls were defeated but they played well and a big thanks to the girls who filled in, you were an asset to the team.

College Magpies went in strong in a game that was against Baimbridge Bandicoots. The girls stayed consistently throughout all areas of the court for the whole game. With strong forward passes and great defense work, it was hard for Baimbridge to keep up. The team’s hard work paid off at the end of the game with a win of 49-7. Thank you to all the fill ins who played and help make the game happen (including playing for the opposition after an injury!)
