What a great start to 2023. One of my highlights has been getting to know all the new Year 7’s and inspiring them to learn about Japanese language and culture. I love watching students’ language skills progress and students building up confidence in their abilities.  

I am excited to announce that next month is the 2023 Global Education Perfect Languages Championships. As a school, we have been very successful in the past with students eagerly competing to win some wonderful prizes. We first entered the competition in 2013 and have competed nearly every year since. It is such a wonderful competition that greatly improves the Japanese vocabulary skills of all students that participate. 

The competition will be held from the 7 - 14 of March, see Katsi Sensei for more details.
