Outdoor Education

Some little adventures....

The Year 10 Outdoor Education group have been looking at the proposed Great Forest National Park and the different opinions people may have on land use. This involved a field trip to Toolangi State Forest where the group looked at different aged forests, including Wirrawilla Rainforest.

Year 11 and 12 Outdoor and Environmental Studies.

As part of the course students look at how human relationships with the environment  have changed through the course of history. The Portsea – Sorrento Coastal Camp allowed students to focus on Point Nepean National Park and the coastal and marine environments.

Students got to participate in snorkelling and sea kayaking. Due to windy conditions, both events were hard work and the students were highly praised for their attitudes and resilience.
