A lot of new books going home this week from Class 1/2's library visit this week. 

Prep/1 helping Steph with a screen glitch wiggling their crossed fingers for luck so their reading text would upload.........It worked!

Class1/2 breaking down some text words into digraphs

Class 2/3's reading and writing this week focussed on the book The River by Sally Morgan & Johnny Warrkatja Malibirr.

Grow Your Mind Lessons

All Prep -3 students have been paired up as their teachers take them through the Well Being Curriculum of Grow Your Mind. For our older students it has become a great opportunity for them to become leaders. Here is some work they have been doing together.

Grade 4 with Kathryn were looking at the book Magic Beach by Alison Lester. In celebration of International Poetry Day on Tuesday.  Looking through this book together they were taking note of the descriptive writing used.

Class 5/6 with Mel have created their own Totem Pole animals
