MONASH

NEWS AND USEFUL INFORMATION

• Monash Virtual School is back for 2023 - this is a free program delivered by the Faculty of Education and sponsored by the Invergowrie Foundation. Monash Virtual School provides free VCE revision classes in biology, chemistry, general maths, maths methods, physics, psychology, specialist maths and software development
• UCAT registrations opened on 1 March. Sitting the UCAT is one of the three entry requirements in applying for medicine at Monash.
• Have you heard of the Monash Guarantee? This can help students gain entry to a Monash degree even if they don't meet the lowest selection rank, if they are from an underrepresented school, live in a low socio-economic area, have experienced financial hardship or are Indigenous Australian. 
  • Please note, the Monash Guarantee does not apply to medicine, due to the program's three-part entry scheme (UCAT/ATAR/MMI), but does apply to all of the pathway degrees to medicine, and all of our nursing and allied health degrees.
• Here's a copy of the current Monash Biomedical Science course brochure Biomedical science is the preferred pathway into graduate entry medicine at Monash.
