MURRUMBEENA DADS

Attention Murrumbeena Dads:

My son asked me if I had seen the dog bowl. I said no. I didn’t even know that he could.

Murrumbeena Primary School is interested in supporting the establishment of a dad and father figures group in the school. This group would organise a few informal father/child school events across the school year.

I am very keen to support this group in the school, so that hopefully I can contribute more than just my dad jokes to the community. Research shows that such groups significantly boost feelings of connection to the school and improve a range of outcomes for students and families.

If you would like to speak more about this group, or would like to get involved, please contact me on Andrew.mckibbin@education.vic.gov.au, or call through the school office. Our first agenda item will be to choose a group name that gets us the street cred we deserve.
