Performing Arts & Music at BPPS
Welcome Back to Foundation-Grade 2
A big welcome back to all our Foundation, Grade 1 and 2 students!
A few reminders for Grade 3-6
Just a few reminders in regards to the Performing Arts programs for the next two weeks:
- Performing Arts lessons are uploaded on a Monday morning so they can be completed throughout the week.
- The Year 3 – 6 students have a dedicated afternoon on their weekly timetable for Performing Arts.
- If students have not completed all the task in previous weeks it would be great if they could go back and complete these.
- Monday: Grade 5/6
- Thursday: Grade 3/4
- It is expected that students complete their Performing Arts lessons just as they would if we were all onsite learning. I understand that this is a challenging time for learning and it may not always be possible to complete the activities in a week. If this is the case please let me know via Sentral or email.

Ensembles Update
In line with the current Department of Education and Training and Chief Medical Officer's guidelines no ensemble rehearsals will be taking place during the remainder of Term 2.
Senior Choir has been sent music by Mrs Tenace to rehearse at home, and Miss Poor encourages the Junior Choir and African Drumming members to rehearse their current repertoire (as per the letters sent to families this week). In the coming weeks Miss Poor and Mrs Tenace may send more music for students to rehearse with.
At this stage, we aim for all ensemble rehearsals to recommence in Term 3 and we will email you further information regarding this prior to Week 1 of Term 3.
