NEW JRC RULES FOR COVID-19

To ensure staff and student safety we have had to make a few changes to our library services:

• Students will be strongly encouraged to use ePlatform (our eBook and Audiobook library) for reading.
• Our physical books and shelves will be closed to student access.
• Students will still be able to access physical books, but only via a librarian.

ePLATFORM

ePlatform is a fantastic resource with over 1200 eBook and 600 Audiobook titles on offer.  Loans are for two weeks and return automatically, so no risk of overdues or lost books!  Using ePlatform also helps reduce the risk of COVID-19 from sharing books.

ePlatform can be accessed from the Smartsuite homepage:

Compass > ‘Star’ > Smartsuite > ePlaform (top menu)

Just sign in with your Compass username and password.   

An easier way to access ePlatform is to download the ePlaform App on any Smart device.

Downloading Audiobooks can use a lot of data, but with ePlatform App you can preload books so you can listen data free when you’re out and about.  This video shows you how: https://www.facebook.com/ePlatform/videos/1578091208903665/
