YEAR 7 FLAG MONITORS

During the end of Term 4 the 2019 SRC wanted to raised funds on a student casual clothes day to contribute towards new flag poles for the entrance of our new building. The flag poles and the new flags are now up! We are really proud of the students for raising these funds and the SRC for their hard work. 

Congratulations to Flynn and Vasilisa who are our 2020 ‘Flag Monitors’ and SRC members. They are doing a wonderful job each day in their new role.

Vasilisa- "I am really glad to have the opportunity to work with Flynn and both be in charge of the flags. Each morning Flynn and I meet at the general office at 8:30am to collect the flags and again at the end of the day we meet again to take the flags down and fold them neatly. The first time it took us a very long time to go through the whole flag process! But now Flynn and I are 'flag masters' and get everything done in about 5 minutes. This is an important role we have as it shows how responsible the students are to this school. Most of all I enjoy working with Flynn. We work well together and take this opportunity seriously and to show how proud I am of being a student at this school and working with Flynn."
