Careers/Senior Pathways

Senior Pathways Information

The Senior Pathways Team would like to thank all the families, staff and students for their support and work during the six weeks of remote learning and teaching. During this period the school ran a combination of remote tutorials that spanned from 8.00am to 9pm, conducted onsite practical classes and had a week of remote assessments for Unit 3 subjects. The students are to be commended for their flexibility, resilience and engagement in learning during this period. This week has seen the transition back to face to face teaching and the attendance and engagement has been exceptional. The team would like to thank all the families for their support during this time.

Mr Jason Mahmoud

Senior Pathways Leader

VCAL

The Intermediate and Senior VCAL students have been creating 'Welcome Back' posters for all homerooms and for the staff.   The feedback the VCAL girls gave on doing this task was:

  • "It was fun even though we had to be socially distant. I enjoyed seeing the other girls and speaking to people that I wouldn't normally. It was great to do something positive for the school." Sasha, Year 11 St Bakhita
  • "I felt that my work made a valuable contribution to the project." Lily, Year 11 St Dorothy
  • "It was fun but at the same time we were doing work." Emmy, Year 11 St Martha
  • "We hope that students read our posters and messages and it makes their first day back a special moment." Christina, Year 12 St Veronica
  • "We hope that the school appreciates the efforts we have made to acknowledge their first day back." Jasmine, Year 12 Miriam

The Year 12 VCAL students also placed messages on all the Year 12 lockers in support of their fellow Year 12 students.

Kind regards,

Mrs Nicole Scott,

VET/VCAL Coordinator,
