Years 1 and 2

Years 1 and 2 students were welcomed back into their learning spaces this week with balloons and streamers. It was so great to see all of their happy faces again.

Years 3 and 4

Australian History Inquiry

Students in 3/4 have been learning about Australian history in Inquiry this term. During Week 6 they learnt about the explorer Charles Sturt and created various models of items from his expedition. 

Report Writing

In writing, students have been writing reports for various purposes. We had 85, Years 3 and 4 students engage in a live Zoom session where they learnt how to research and present their findings.

F-2 Visual Arts

While learning from home, students in Foundation and Years 1 and 2 were provided with a range of art tasks to complete at home. The focus for this term has been collage, paper weaving and creating creatures using a range of papers. Students have been emailing photos of their completed art tasks to Mrs Langley each week.

Last week, F-2 students completed collage contrast pictures, self-portraits and sculptures using things they could find around their home.
