Mr Butts' Announcements

Lent

Today is Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent.  All students took part in liturgies and received ashes on their foreheads. This reminds us to be like Jesus and follow the gospel values of love, forgiveness, understanding and respect.

Prep Welcome Night

Thank you to those who attended our Prep welcome liturgy and BBQ last night.  A special thanks to Mrs Hicks and the Prep staff for organising the liturgy and all the parent helpers who assisted with the BBQ.  I made a special thank you to our wonderful Prep staff who have worked so hard to ensure our children have had a smooth start to Primary school.  We are very lucky to have such nurturing and capable teachers and support staff.

Opening School Mass

Our opening mass for the school year was celebrated on Friday and was a beautiful celebration. If you weren't able to attend, please take time to have a look at the video.   Our readers, choir and everyone involved in the liturgy all contributed to this being a wonderful way to start the school year.  Thank you to Mrs Hicks for her preparation and creativity.
