Work Experience

This year, Kurunjang Secondary College is running a compulsory Work Experience Program from 19th June to 23rd June giving the opportunity for all Year 10 students to gain work experience in a career that may be of interest to them.

Work experience is the short-term placement of secondary school students with employers to provide insights into the industry and the workplace in which they are located.

It provides students with the valuable opportunity to: 

• develop employability skills

• explore possible career options

• understand employer expectations, and

• increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence and self-confidence.

We urge students to start contacting potential employers now, as there is high demand in many areas and limited opportunities.
