Library Lunch Clubs

Our popular lunch clubs are running again this year. With a variety of different activities happening each week, i'm sure students will find a club or activity that suits their interest.

We look forward to seeing students coming along and joining in our library lunch time activities. 

Monday - Mindful Monday activities including drawing, canvas arts, mug painting, mindful colouring.

Tuesday - Anime & Manga Club - see our new Manga and Graphic Novels (and be first to borrow them!), watch an episode or two of anime. Maybe try some manga drawing?

Wednesday - Lego Club - join other students and build some Lego creations. At the end of the term we will be running a Lego competition. 

Thursday - Survivor Club - based on the hit TV show, Australia Survivor. Students can participate in some indoor games and see the latest episode of survivor. Who will find the hidden immunity idol?

Friday - Chess Club - our popular chess club is back again this year. Students can enjoy a casual game of chess with fellow students. We welcome new players and those who want to learn. Look out for our chess tournament later this term.

Student Library Assistant Program

Our student library assistant program is continuing in 2023. This year we welcome the following library helpers:

Cameron, Orlando, Kevin, Brigit, Mikaela, Jessica, and Noah.

Throughout the program students will learn a number of skills including Leadership, Responsibility, and Library services.

Library Lovers Day

Library Lovers Day is a day to remember that our libraries are a place where we can get lost in an idea we are following, find an adventure we are seeking in a book, discover more about an issue we feel passionate about or get help from someone about something we want to know. These are all the reasons (and more) to celebrate the valuable roles libraries play in our lives and to re-engage with our libraries and 'show the love'.
