The Buzz:

Year 6 Student Leaders

Year 6 Class of 2023

From Our  Sports Captains: Sophie & Max

In the past weeks at St Aidan's the school has given every student in Years 3-6 a compulsory instrument to learn. The instrument we learn is based on the results in a test.

The school also has provided a new sports teacher. At the moment we're working on ball skills, but later into the term Miss Baron will be preparing us for the Athletics Carnival.

St Aidan’s has also participated in a lot of sport trials such as the Zone swimming carnival, Netball trial, Soccer trial, Touch trials, AFL trials and  Rugby league trials, and some  of the students of St Aidan's who participated in these events progressed to Mackillop level.

Some of the St Aidan’s students from Years 3-6 participated in an out of school event called State Nippers Carnival that went for four days towards the end of February. State Nippers have two parts you can participate in, water and sand. Some of our students competed in individual events including the surf swim, board race, ironperson, beach sprints, flags. Some of our students also competed in team events including the surf swim team, board relay, board rescue, Cameron relay (swim/run/board/run), beach sprint relays and long distance run relays, The students that participated in these events received outstanding results and we are very proud of them.
