Mrs Rebecca Beveridge

PBL

What a great two weeks of PBL we have had! For the past two weeks, we have been focusing on how to be Respectful, Responsible and Resilient in the stick area. We have absolutely been loving seeing a huge range of students playing in the stick area together! We have seen lots of older students helping the younger students and working together to create creative teepees and bases! For the past two weeks, we have focused on building resilience and compromising skills. Students have engaged in activities that enable them to use compromising skills to work together. Compromising skills in the stick area involve students sharing resources such as sticks, pine cones and much more!

Here are some wondering bases that have involved students working together!

Over the next two weeks, we will be looking at how we can show Respect, Responsibility and Resilience before school commences each morning as well as in transitions (moving to different areas in the school, including the toilets).

We have been seeing fantastic behaviour all throughout the school this term and we are so proud of how amazing every student has been doing! As a result of their amazing behaviour, have a look at how full our Gotcha tower is already!!!!!

Last week at our Monday assembly we had our Gotcha prize for individual students. Every three weeks at our assembly we will be randomly selecting two Gotcha tokens from our Gotcha tower, those two lucky winners will receive a yummy prize!!!!

Congratulations to our two first winners- Amber DeGraaf and Lacey Uch. Well done girls!
