Student Safety - online

It has come to our attention that recently there have been some incidents where students have been connecting with other students via different forms of social media eg snapchat, messenger kids etc.  While this is up to parents to decide if their child is able to access these apps, it is also parents' responsibility to ensure that they know what is being sent and to who.  Please read below the information about cyberbullying and signs to look out for at home.  I have also attached information in the ICT News and Updates section of the newsletter.

NCCD - Students with Disabilities

All families whose children meet the funding criteria will receive a copy of the current Personalised Learning Plan (PLP) from your child's teacher in the coming weeks so that you can see the nominated goals for the term.  It is important that you read through the goals and information in the plan. Please contact me or your child's teacher if you have any questions related to the information in the plan. Once again we will sign off on PLPs with a PSG meeting at the end of the term.  These are proposed to take place on Wednesday 29th March/Thursday 30th March / Friday 31st March.  An email will be distributed in the coming weeks alerting families to booking times.
