Writing

In writing, grade 6 have been exploring biographies. Last week, students examined how authors use interviews as a primary source to collect information for biographies. The students constructed a range of open-ended questions and conducted an interview with the grade 1/2 class to gather information about their lives. Students will now be using their gathered information to draft, write, edit, refine and publish a biography.
