Jam and Coffee Mugs and Lemons

Jam Making

We have lots of jam jars that have been donated by families. If you would like to make some jam, and don't have any jars, come and get them from the front office.

Remember to sterilise your jars (https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/howto/guide/how-sterilise-jars) and list the ingredients.   We will label the jars for the Fete, so listing on paper is fine, or email me.  You are welcome to bring in your jam anytime from now.

The jam and preserves stall sells out of everything, so the more donations the better!  We’re not limited to jams, it could be anything in a jar including chutneys, cordials, spice rubs, spiced nuts, salad dressings and lemon butter, etc.

If you have excess fruit from your trees, please let me know and I will put it to good use.

 School Jam making sessions:

Sunday March 5 – 2.00pm – 5.00pm

Saturday March 18 – 2.00pm – 5.00pm

The more the merrier, please let me know if you can attend, even if it’s for an hour.

Coffee Mugs

We will be having a coffee cart but would like to keep it as sustainable as possible and use reusable cups. If you have any unwanted coffee cups, mugs or keep cups please keep them and bring them in to the office from Monday.

Thanks!

Lemons

Lee Street leavers would love your lemons

This year, our famous lemonade stall will be run by a group ex-Lee Street students volunteering to support the school. They are seeking supplies of lemons to make A LOT of homemade lemonade and raspberry lemonade to sell on fete day.

If you have access to a tree, please drop off a bag of lemons at the front desk at School before the 14 March.

The alumni lemonade crew welcome any past students who would like to get involved and volunteer an hour or two of their time on fete day.
