Student Leadership
Peer Mentoring – On Wednesday the 10th of August, Year 7 participated in a peer mentoring session run by our student leaders. The session focused on what makes a good friend and healthy peer relationships. Students enjoyed some sporting activities afterwards and were treated to a sausage sizzle prepared by the Year 10 STAR class. It was a wonderful way to spend fourth period.
National Pyjama Day – On the 7th of August Camden High celebrated National Pyjama Day. Students had a blast, and we even managed to raise well over $500 which will go towards supporting children living in out-of-home care.
Premier’s Breakfast – On Wednesday the 9th of August Mrs Woods and our school captains attended the annual Premier’s breakfast at Menangle. It was an opportunity to listen to the Premier speak on a number of issues that impact the greater Macarthur region and to respond to specific questions from business and industry. What a great opportunity for our future leaders!
