What a busy week we have had in the world of athletics- Senior and Junior event days.
On Monday the Grade 3-6 students attended Goldsworthy Reserve and were involved in a number of events. It was great to see students participating to the best of their abilities and the support that students were offering their peers. Students who excelled in each event will now move onto the district competitions- no doubt this will be very challenging for all those involved.
It was absolutely fantastic to see our Prep-Grade 2's involved in their Junior Athletics Day. There was a lot of excitement as the "littles" were participated in lots of sporting activities.
Great work everyone.
REMINDER: Please be aware that your consent is required for various aspects of your child's schooling. These are annual permissions (e.g. photos, local excursions etc.) that we require for all children and are now available by logging onto Compass for each child. Unfortunately, many photos have been unable to be submitted to each newsletter this year due to no photo permission being granted for many children.
Enrolments for 2024 Preps have begun and there has been plenty of early interest. If you have a sibling of a current student needing enrolment next year then we ask that this is submitted as soon as possible to give us a clear indication of potential numbers and class sizes. If you know of anyone looking to enroll at Rollins also, then we have various tour times available.

Our Year 3 & 5 students will be taking part in the National Assessment Program, NAPLAN, next week. The children will be required to complete tests over a number of days and a range of learning areas including Reading, Writing, Number, Language and Numeracy. Every child approaches these tests differently with some handling the situation well and others finding it very challenging. We ask that you support your child by not placing any undue pressure on them to perform. It’s important to remember that NAPLAN results provide a snapshot in time and are only one indicator of many items indicating a student’s progress and development.
