Victorian State School Spectacular Broadcast

This year, some of our Level 4 students participated in the Mass Choir of the Victorian State School Spectacular. As with many things this year, the Spectacular went online during remote learning! Students recorded themselves singing at home and participated in online practices throughout the school week on WebEx! 

The Victorian State School Spectacular will be broadcast on Channel 7 on Saturday 5th December at 7pm. It will also be live streamed on the 7plus app and 7 plus website, www.7plus.com.au . It will also be available for catchup viewing on the 7plus app and website for 30 days from the broad cast date! 

We are so proud of the resilience our students showed throughout this difficult year, and this is just another example of students determination and commitment. 

Congratulations to all involved and keep an eye out for the JPPS school uniform the upcoming broadcast! 

Concert 2020 Costumes

This year, our Whole School Concert theme is based on ‘Cartoons’. Students are presenting songs and dances from different well-known cartoons. While this year the Concert will be presented in a different format to a normal year, we would still like to have students feel as special as though they are performing, even if it’s to a camera! 

This year we would be grateful if you could provide a costume for your child. The costumes are simple and shouldn’t be too difficult to source. This is a great opportunity for you and your child to design a costume that is individual to them. It may be as simple as a plain coloured t-shirt or something more creative. Please make sure the costume only contains the colour stated (no printed or graphic t-shirts) and is paired with black pants/leggings/skirts or shorts.

Please ensure each item is named and that it is brought to your child’s class in a named bag by Thursday 3rd December, 2020.

- Orange Top/Accessories with black bottoms 

Level 4 (Superheroes “Cartoon Heroes” - by Aqua) 

- Red Top/Accessories (may like to include a cape!) with black bottoms 

Level 5 (Small Foot “Perfection”) 

- Blue Top/Accessories with black bottoms
