Remembrance Day 

Yesterday Australians paused in their homes, schools or workplaces to observe the minute’s silence to remember not only those lost in War, but all who came home and also those who follow in their footsteps. At St Bede's we open our hearts and remember the contribution and sacrifice of all Australians including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander veterans to Australia’s war efforts.

This year's Remembrance Day Services may have been different but were still celebrated with the same gratitude and reverence as always. This year our school leaders ran the Remembrance Day Service for our community and this was viewed through a Google Meet. I would like to thank Olivia Lupacchini, Vana Kairouz, Angus Callaghan, Alyssia William, Alexi Corvetti, Archie Harvey, Gabriel Smith, Luka Giamo, Gabriel Fernandez, Stephen Walsh and Bernadette Reed for leading a wonderful tribute. 

We will remember them.
