Principal's News

Dear Parents and friends,

What good news we received this week with the lifting of some restrictions in Melbourne. For many of us this will provide an opportunity to meet up with family and friends whom we haven't seen for sooooo long. It certainly has been a challenging time but people do appear much more positive and brighter.

Congratulations to all Richmond supporters who would be overjoyed with the win on Saturday. It was great to see The Vixens, The Tigers and Melbourne Storm all triumph and give Victorians much to celebrate.

We had our own celebration on Monday with our Book Week dress up, parade and assembly . It did look different this year but it was still full of fun and enjoyment.

I have attached The Book Week Parade movie for your enjoyment. Thanks to David Gahan and The Screen Team for putting this together.

Trinity is certainly 'business as usual' again with targetted and extensive learning and teaching happening. Though our students seem happy, enthusiastic and positive some may be more fragile. I have attached some articles from Andrew Fuller - Clinical Psychologist which may be helpful. Please do let myself or the class teacher know if your child is experiencing any difficulties so we can support you.

Next Wednesday and the following 3 weeks after that, we welcome our Prep 2021 to Trinity to begin their transition to school. It is exciting that we can welcome them onsite in small groups and help them develop some farmiliarity with their new envirnoment.

No School

Just a reminder the school is closed on Monday 2nd November as teachers begin to write student reports and Tuesday 3rd November for Melbourne Cup Day.

As next week will be a short week, there will be no newsletter.

I hope everyone enjoys another long weekend.
