$20 Boss Program - Year 9 Commerce

The year 9 commerce students have been participating in the $20 Boss initiative. This program funds the students' start up capital to create their own enterprises to create products/services to sell. This year students were given $20 each to create an enterprise that has a positive impact on the environment or a positive impact on individual wellbeing. 

Students have the option to group their money into partnerships. Students have been selling their products to the Marian Community this week. They will also be selling next week pending on product availability.  Students are required to pay their loan back with $1 interest with the remaining money from sales becoming their profit. This program has been great for the commerce students to learn the operational, financial, and marketing processes of running a business.
