Year 10 students completed a STEM activity this week. They researched and constructed their own Nanobots. Nanobots are robots that carry out a very specific function and are ~50–100 nm wide. They can be used very effectively for drug or vaccine delivery. Students created a model of a Nanobot which used a vibrating or offset motor to move around in unpredictable ways to create an original scribble artwork. It is a fun way to learn the basics of creating a simple circuit with a switch as well as link to cutting edge technology.
