Bless the Road

And heaven hold and watch your dream forever

May your every dream come true

Forgive all wrong, always be strong

And do what you must do

You stand before this open door

And you must now go through

My precious friend, my own sweet companion

Bless the road that carries you

My precious friend, my own my sweet companion

Bless the road that carries you.

The final verse from a song, “Bless the Road’, from Irish singer Mary Black’s beautiful CD.

Last Friday night we said goodbye to the graduates of Year 12, 2020.It has been an unprecedented year with Covid19 altering many of the usual practices but we do have a Graduation Dinner taking place and we do have the whole class photo which is one of our great traditions. My thanks to parents for their patience and understanding with the arrangements that have been made and whilst the event was not the same, it was a wonderful celebration nevertheless.

On Monday we had Bishop Mark Edwards join us, which was a first for him and us.  Bishop Mark blessed our new statues to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the school. This event, took place at 10:45am and was livestreamed on MCC Facebook page.  Please see below:

Our year normally finishes with the College Picnic at Lake Talbot, however due to Covid, this will not take place. The students last day will Friday 11 December.

Peace and Best Wishes
