Notizie Italiane

Maria Loss-Suehrcke

Year 3 students have been learning about how to describe people. To reinforce the learning they have been playing “Who Am I” in Italian.

Year 4 students have been learning about places inside the school. They created maps of their own schools and labeled them in Italian. Apart from the usual places such as classrooms, a playground, and an oval, students were encouraged to add other fun places. Students included such things as a pool, a treehouse, a petting zoo, and a chocolate fountain.

Year 5 students have been creating city maps and labelling them in Italian.

Year 6 students in Room 4, have been creating a map of Italy using pasta to highlight the 20 regions or the topography of Italy.

Students in Rooms 1, 2, and 3 have been creating a diorama of an Italian piazza. They have learned about features in a piazza and have labeled them.
