Parent Contributions for 2021

Dear Parents/Carers/Students,

We are able to announce that the Ballarat High School Council has established the Parent Contributions for 2021. We request that parents/carers pay all charges applicable to the programs you have selected for 2021.

Ballarat High School Council is firmly committed to providing the best possible opportunities for all our students. Parent Contributions assist the School to provide an enriched learning and teaching program for every student and maintain its high standards in quality facilities. Many items and services offered by Ballarat High School are not supported by Government funding.

The Curriculum & Service Charge and VET Materials funds go directly to learning area budgets to pay for essential student learning items, i.e. class materials which are used by the students and/or resources provided to students in lieu of text books. Transport and entry to some sporting venues is also covered.

Programs such as Instrumental Music, Specialist Sport and Rowing are optional items to the standard program; accordingly, student placement in these programs will be subject to review, if payment or an appropriate arrangement for payment has not been made.
