School grounds & facilities

Working Bee

In an ideal world, the school would be provided with adequate funding to keep our buildings and grounds looking perfect with no need to reach out to our parents for extra help.

Sadly, this is not the case and the continued maintenance and upkeep of our facilities relies on parents and carers all pulling up their sleeves a few times each year.

For this reason, our first (of two) Working Bees for the school year is approaching early next term. On Saturday 2nd May we are asking for all of our families to give up a few hours to help keep our school grounds beautiful ready for the winter.

We have a long list of minor jobs for the day including painting, sanding, cleaning, building, varnishing and attaching. Some of these jobs are very straightforward and others require some more trade expertise.

We will start the day at 8am and work through until around 1pm so please put this date into your diaries and plan out how you can come along for a while in between existing sporting or other saturday morning commitments.

We will finish the day with a sausage sizzle so please bring along the family - we need everyone's help. Please rsvp for the day to scott.neil.n@edumail.vic.gov.au

If you can't make it on the 2nd May, please pencil in Saturday 24th October now so you can attend our second Working Bee in term 4.
