Hello Wonderful RHPS Artists,

It was so lovely to have our artist's back in the art room!!! 

The Grade 5/6’s have come back enthused and full of creativity, as they work on their Stop Motion animation. As our unit was reduced to 2 weeks, we are powering along to create some awesome work.

Luckily, I was able to fire all the Grade 3/4 clay masterpieces and we will get these glazed before the school holidays, so these can be fired again and come out all beautiful and shinny!!!

The Zart Art student art competition is OPEN!!!!!!!!! 

If your child has a passion for art and has created a piece of art that they have made at school or home in the past 12 months, they are eligible to enter their artwork into this fantastic competition.

The theme for the competition is: OUR CELEBRATION OF AUSTRALIA and the prize is a $250 Zart voucher and a $450 voucher for their enrolled school.  

Artwork can be 2D (e.g. drawing, painting, sidewalk chalk drawing etc.) or 3D (e.g. sculpture, construction).

It is only ONE entry per student, and some students have chosen to enter artwork made at school, which I will enter. If you enter from home, please let me know, so we do not double up entries.

There is a People’s Choice Prize for the artwork that receives the most votes from the public. The People Choice Winner will win a $250 Zart Art & Craft Voucher.
