Denise's Message

Dear Families,

It is hard to believe that we are now halfway through 2021 and as we look back over the past six months it is important to reflect on all we have accomplished and all those that have contributed so much to our school community.

Throughout the first half of this year our children have continually amazed us with their enthusiasm for learning and their resilience through some very challenging times. This was certainly seen during the lockdown times when they consistently jumped online and continued to engage in learning and converse with their peers and their teachers. They displayed great confidence and a positive attitude throughout this time, even our new Preps became experts at remote learning.

At St Michael's we are blessed to have professional, passionate and dedicated staff who consistently strive to provide every child with an engaging learning environment. They spend an enormous amount of time getting to know each child, really living out our motto of 'Where I'm Known'.

Our parent community have continued to shine, whether it be by supporting their children in their learning, especially when learning at home, helping our Parents and Friends group in fundraising activities or creating avenues to strengthen connections within our community.

I thank all members of our St Michael's community for all they have given during Semester 1 and I look forward to an even better Semester 2, there is so much more to do and achieve and together we can certainly do it! We are truly blessed to be part of such a vibrant and energetic learning community.
