ENROLMENTS 2022

We remind all current families to please ensure they submit a sibling enrolment form for 2022

Our Prep enrolment campaign for 2022 has now commenced and your support is needed to spread the good news about our school to parents/carers you know who may be looking for a great school to send their child/ren.

Enrolments for 2022 I cannot believe that we are already thinking about student enrolments for 2022 but the time is creeping up on us!  And, if you know of a family who is wanting to join the Launching Place School community in 2022, can I encourage you to remind them to call the office to organise a school tour. This process helps us to get to know your little one in support of their transition to school. Further information on our enrolment process please contact Audrey at the front office on 59647783. 2022 enrolments need to be submitted by 25th June, 2021.

Some  wonderful work of LPPS Students over the last fortnight.

It was fun and stay away from the man eating shark tank.

It’s been wonderful to see so many students being active in adding and reviewing books in the Premiers’ Reading Challenge. It’s a fun way to challenge students to read more, discover and share new authors and promote a love of books.

Attendance

Daily school attendance is important for young people to succeed in education and to ensure they don’t fall behind, both socially and developmentally. Young people who regularly attend school and complete Year 12 or an equivalent qualification have better health outcomes, better employment outcomes, and higher incomes across their lives. School participation is important as it maximises life opportunities for young people, by providing them with education and support networks.

School helps people to develop important skills, knowledge and values which set them up for further learning and participation in their community. Launching Place Primary School places great importance in all students being at school on time every day the school is open for instruction. Below are some key facts about missed days and their impact on your child’s education.

We understand that sometimes getting your child to school may be difficult and the school is very happy to work with parents to improve their child’s attendance. If you would like to discuss this with us further, please contact the school on 59647783.

Parent Drop-off & Pick-up

EARLY DEPARTURES:

Parents/carers MUST come in via the Office and sign their child out if leaving school early.  We will then organise for your child to come to the Office area to be picked up.  Please do not make your way to your childs classroom except via the office where you will need to sign them out first.
