New partnership with TISC

The University of Notre Dame Australia and the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC) have commenced an exciting new partnership to allow prospective students to include Notre Dame courses in their TISC application. The new functionality will be available through the TISC online application system from Monday 2 August.

Notre Dame will continue to consider personal qualities beyond academic performance in our admissions process. The 2022 TISC Guide will be distributed to Western Australian Schools from the second week of Term 3 and will provide further information on the application process to Notre Dame.

2022 Young Achievers Early Offer Program

We are happy to advise that Year 12 students who have already applied through our Early Offer Program are starting to receive their offers now. There is still time for your Year 12 students to submit an application for our Early Offer Program, which provides Year 12 students with the opportunity to secure a place at university before they sit their final WACE exams. This reduces the pressure on them during this often stressful time, leaving them free to focus on doing their best in their exams.

The program takes into consideration students’ personal qualities, their motivation to study, as well as details of their achievements and community involvement, to reflect Notre Dame’s holistic approach to supporting students and inspiring learning. Students are required to provide copies of available Year 11 and Year 12 reports, and are also encouraged to include supporting documents and written recommendations along with their application.

Applications are now open

Applications are now openfor the Early Offer Program and will close on 1 September 2021. For Early Offer, students apply directly to the University.

Upcoming Events

Open Day - 1 August 2021

Our 2021 Fremantle Open Day is a great opportunity for future students to take tours of our campus and chat to current students about study options, university life, clubs, societies, and more.

There will even be mini lectures and taster sessions to give visiting students an interactive experience of life as a Notre Dame student, and opportunities for them to have their questions answered (and receive a free merchandise show bag!)

Year 12 students and their parents are invited to our exclusive Early Offer Session. This session is the best opportunity to find out more about the benefits of receiving an Early Offer, how to apply, and to hear current students and Notre Dame alumni speak about their experiences.

Early Offer Information Sessions

In late August, Notre Dame student advisers will be hosting 1-on-1 sessions for Year 12 students and their parents to progress their Early Offer applications. This will be an opportunity for students who have already submitted an application for Notre Dame’s Early Offer Program to ask questions and provide further information about themselves, their achievements and community involvement to further progress their application.

Science and Engineering

Maths Methods and Chemistry and 80+ ATAR are highly valued by Curtin Science and Engineering. Students who take alternative pathways struggle to master the concepts.

If you DON’T have maths methods, a multidisciplinary science is the best pathway. You can choose your specialty at the end of your first year.

Curtin will work with applicants to design an alternative pathway that is best suited to them.

Scaling of Maths Methods and Chemistry in ATAR results means that students aren’t

disadvantaged when they apply for science and engineering places.
