News from ISP (International Student Program)

By Qun Mao

Thank you to our home-stay families for supporting our International students during this unprecedented time! They have provided our International students with a beautiful variety of food. One of students has had an experience of making Zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) with his host family to celebrate during the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival.

Our Year 8 International student Ben D shared his remote learning experience and tips:

What I've learnt from last two week that brings me many benefits and during the remote learning...

In my opinion, there are two vital things if you want to use the time of remote learning efficiently and reasonably. Firstly, it is self-discipline. For my perspective, all you need to do for self-discipline is just simply complete all the requirements about learning and other thing by the class time. Secondly, to contact with your teachers. It is very important and very easy to achieve that!

For example, the best and easiest way to contact with your teach is joining the Webex, but if you can't just contact through email or team and you can also let teachers know your problem, or how is your work going on after you done the work. All my teachers always help me and respond me quickly.
