Dear Parents and Carers,

We are already halfway through the term as we enjoy the last days of Autumn. There are many events taking place each week and lots for our children to get involved in. Despite our best efforts it is impossible to avoid scheduling overlaps in such a dynamic school. We apologise for any disappointment that has arisen due to event clashes. Rest assured, there will be many more opportunities to catch up throughout the remainder of the year.

P&F Junior School Reading Fundraiser

This Reading Fundraiser is a P&F initiative to promote literacy in the Junior School and Pre-Kinder and raise funds towards the Performance Theatre. Notices have been sent out and the forms have been sent home. We hope your children enjoy this friendly challenge.

Trivia Night 2022

Planning is well underway for the Trivia Night on 5 August, the major P&F Fundraising event for 2022. We invite the school community to consider donating items for silent auction and raffles on the evening. We are aiming for an ambitious fundraising target of $25,000 and we are grateful for any assistance. Please send through your ideas or offers of donation to Ned Sweetapple via pandfsecretary@kws.nsw.edu.au.

Year 8 Parents' Get Together

The Year 8 Parent representatives have organised a Parents Get Together at the Carrier's Arms on Friday 3 June. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet new families and reacquaint with old friends. Tickets sales close on Friday 27 May.

Year 9 Parents' Get Together

The Year 9 Parent representatives have organised an evening for the Year 9 parents at Parrot Distillery (66 Endsleigh Avenue) on Saturday 4 June from 6pm. Contact pandfsecretary@kws.nsw.edu.au for more information.

Year 10 Parents' Social Event

Parents and Carers of current Year 10 Students are invited to come along for a catch up at The Carriers Arms Hotel on Friday 22 July 2022 from 6pm. We hope that both boarder and day student parents will be able to join us. Tickets are $55pp and include substantial food/canapes and 2 drink tickets on arrival. RSVP by Friday 8 July. Year 12 Parent Gathering at The Carriers Arms

A very successful evening was held at The Carriers Arms for the Year 12 Parents a few weeks ago. It was a fun-filled coming together of families who have children in their final school year. Thank you to all of our attendees for a great evening!

Revised KWS P&F Constitution

The Kinross Wolaroi School P&F Association Constitution has been reviewed and the new Constitution was adopted at the recent P&F Meeting on 11 May 2022. It is due for revision again by May 2027. It is available on the school website and we have supplied a link below for anyone who would like to read it:
